Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi are coming together for the first time in the upcoming film Bhool Chuk Maaf (2025). The teaser for the film was released on April 10, and the movie is set to hit theaters on May 9, 2025. Directed brilliantly by Karan Sharma, the film is also written by him. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banners of Amazon MGM Studios and Maddock Films. The cinematography is done by Sudeep Chatterjee, and the music is composed by Tanishk Bagchi.
The story revolves around Ranjan, played by Rajkummar Rao, a romantic guy from the small town of Banaras. Wamiqa Gabbi plays the role of Titli. In order to gain approval from Ranjan’s family to marry Titli, he secures a government job. However, he forgets a promise he made to Lord Shiva. Even the wedding date is set, but until he fulfills his promise, he finds himself trapped. A hilarious tale of love, fate, and redemption follows.
Interestingly, the iconic song Chor Bazaari from Love Aaj Kal (2009), originally featuring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone—where Wamiqa Gabbi had a brief appearance—is featured in this film as well. In Bhool Chuk Maaf, the song is recreated with Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi giving stellar performances.
